Our Philosophy

We have always had a passion for teaching and performing music. Our purpose is to help people learn an instrument, and the latent skills that come with learning an instrument . We have worked in public schools and private music schools.

We find the one-on-one approach to be best when it comes to learning how to play an instrument effectively, quickly, and with a positive experience with their teacher. Private lessons are often too expensive and with teachers that are unqualified. We want to find good, quality instructors at a rate that is more affordable.

We will teach absolutely anyone, but most beginners are children. Most children don’t grow up to be professional musicians and that’s okay. Children that practice, study, and indulge in musical creativity are successful in school and in life for numerous cognitive and physical reasons, particularly stronger synapses and thinking processes that develop in the brain. Young students also learn responsibility in the form of practicing at steady, routine intervals during their week. Learning one on one allows for focused, higher quality, and personalized instruction based on you or your students’ individual goals or needs.

What we love about music is that musical growth is directly related to how much time and effort you put in. The time and effort are always rewarded fairly. It does not matter where you come from, what you look like, how much money you make, or any personal detail about you: Music only cares about how much and how well you practice.
